Born in uttarakhand (India). Music has always been my passion since my childhood. I grew up singing folk songs of our uttarakhand culture during my school days. As a young boy of the.  1980s, bollywood songs started to have its influence on my love for music. I gradually started listening to Kishore kumar ji, the legendary playback singer of bollywood. I silently idolised him, started  collecting his songs on cassettes. I was heartbroken when kishore daa suddenly left us on 13th Oct. 1987. As I grew up and started doing live musical events, an inner voice within me pushed me to perform Kishore da's songs on stage. So began my journey in the footsteps of the legendary singer. During my college days I was greatly encouraged by my colleagues and gradually started doing a lot of live events with many musical bands singing Kishore da's songs. In 1998, I was awarded the "Kishore Award" at a competition that was organised at state level. I was vry much appreciated by this which further encouraged me to launch an album "BACK TO KISHORE"  a version of kishore da's songs. I feel blessed and consider myself as one of the flag bearers of the legendary singer. I continue to sing his songs with same intensity and passion with constant encouragement from my fans.
