Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Matthew Rotker-Lynn has performed regularly at various music venues and restaurants throughout Manhattan since his arrival in 2016. While he has a deep appreciation for greats like Wes Montgomery, John Coltrane, and Kenny Burrell, his playing also has the ability to sound modernistic in necessary musical situations. Matthew has studied with guitar greats Peter Bernstein and Lage Lund, as well as Pete McCann, Paul Bollenback, and Kenny Wessell. He has additionally studied with world class musicians on other instruments, such as Rodney Green, Steve Wilson, and Mike Holober.
