Relentlessly creative, yet seriously old guard, Franglais is one of the best and most interesting Gypsy jazz bands in the United States. Founded in 2004 after a trip to the Django Reinhardt Jazz festival in Samois-Sur-Seine, France. Performing at that very festival 10 later!, Franglais sounds like jazz in the Sinti camps yet creative and beautiful solos from the front line make their music distinctly American.  

The husband and wife duo of rhythm guitarist Ben Wood and vocalist Eve Seltzer form the core of the musical phenomenon that is Franglais, the band they founded in 2004.  They are joined by some of the most talented musicians in the USA and beyond...usually a soloist and a bassist.  Franglais has recently appeared at jazz clubs and festivals in New York, the midwest and France.
