Who or what is Brass Fire?

Brass Fire is what is referred to in the music industry as a ‘horn’ band.   A ‘horn’ band adds woodwind and brass instruments to a standard rhythm section consisting of guitarists, a drummer, a pianist and of course, vocals. This combination produces unique and powerful sounds reminiscent of renown ‘horn’ bands like Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power and Blood, Sweat & Tears.  The varied musical styles produced by this band include blues, jazz, rock and many other.

Brass Fire is made up of talented musicians from Northeast Oregon and Southwest Washington.  Several of the musicians have extensive professional performance backgrounds including East Coast bands, West Coast bands, Military bands, Cruise Ship bands, and more. Some members are current or former school band directors.

Brass Fire has performed in many local venues including Wild Horse Casino, Pendleton, OR, The Red Lion Inn, Kennewick, WA and Pendleton, OR, and many more.  References are available upon request.
