  • Mati attended LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts as a vocal major. She consistently performed for Bangladeshi cultural events in Queens for Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA) and appeared on international TV channels NTV and TBN. Her voice is comparable to Sia, Rihanna, and Alicia Keys. Her style ranges from RnB, pop, rock, and folk. Today, she is pursuing her dream of becoming the first Bangladeshi singer to hit the American charts. Mati wants to change the world through music and give the American- Bangladeshi women a prominent voice in the media.

Biography
Mati was born in Bangladesh and came to New York City with her mother in 2002. After struggling to assimilate into American culture, she started to learn English songs to learn the language. Mati and her mother moved around the Tri-State after settling down in the Bronx. She auditioned for the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts and got accepted as a vocal major. She trained in classical opera and strengthened her voice. She performed in many shows around the city while completing her Arts degree. In 2018 she released her first single "When You're Down" and has been writing songs ever since. She will release her 1st EP in the year of 2020.
