Corner Kitchen, originally opened in June of 2015 by husband-and-wife team Jack and Natalie Skilliter, humbly served patrons for nearly five years becoming one of the most beloved restaurants in the Greater Dayton area. Their scratch-made, farm-to-table cuisine was known throughout the Miami Valley as creative, fresh, and soulful. In June of 2020, they were forced to close Corner Kitchen permanently, another casualty of the pandemic that caused so much devastation to the restaurant industry.

After a year and a half of closure, Corner Kitchen was purchased by The One Esca Group which owns and operates a combination of 14 independent, franchised, and licensed restaurants including 3 that have operated in the state of Ohio for several decades. Reopened in February of 2022 with acclaimed chef Gavin St. Denis at the helm, Corner Kitchen retains the scratch-kitchen philosophy and casual feel, while also elevating the menu and expanding the offerings. The One Esca Group is pleased to bring back a beloved mainstay to the many Daytonians that have lovingly supported Corner Kitchen throughout the years.
