Hi! my name is Yong Yoon Kim but you can call me Kim. I graduated from Berklee College of Music and living in beautiful New York city at the moment. I am a professional performing multi-instrumentalist, especially proficient with Electric/Upright Bass and Electric/Acoustic Guitar.I have been performing musician since my teenage, at various events and venues with diverse musical styles and ensembles. Most recently I've worked with DCQ Entertainment for 2019 wedding season which served East coast areas including MA, ME, CT, NY, NH and RI.Throughout my time as a performing musician, the most important asset I've earned is communication skill. Regardless of the character of events or audiences, the key to make a great event happen is to be aware of my surroundings and communicating efficiently with people that I work with.My musical style is diverse. I have performed, composed, and conducted solo/duo acts to big bands and orchestras with a proficient music arranging and notation skills for whatever genres of music you can think of. I am also a musical director for Brooklyn based singer-sonwriters Hannah Allen from LA, William Ospina from Colombia and MILA from Argentina.I take each performance opportunity seriously. I come prepared to rehearsals and gigs since I do not want to waste anyone's time. The most important thing for us is to make a great event happen! When we understand that and work together towards that goal, we will suceed.Performing music is my strongest part of my musicianship, although I work as a audio/live sound engineer, A/V technician, music producer and educator.Let's talk!
