Elisa Sintjago was born in Amsterdam. She grew up in a musical family. She attended church frequently, being exposed to a full spectrum of  music by the time she was 7 years old. When she was a teenager she was selected to lead the church choir as a soloist. She performed often in church events and school holiday pageants. Elisa attended the Lucia Marta’s Academy of Dance and Music,and the popschool. She graduated with a major in music performance and dance. Elisa appeared on the Netherlands TV networks, SBS 6 and RTL 4, in the TV series the x-factor,and some dutch local tv shows  ,She also appeared in  the series the the voice on RTL5 a dutch tv network,Her modeling career began at the age of 16, scoring photo shoots in maxim, and Glamour modelling worldwide. Two of the glamour modelling's top fashion magazines. While in Cannes, she met model agents from Victoria’s Secret. She eventually won a contract and traveled to America to model for them. She immediately had  photo shoots and live shows all over the world! While Elisa was enjoying her modeling career, she practiced and promoted her singing. While in Los Angeles, she made connections with the Queen of R&B/Soul, Mary J. Blige. Mary’s organization was in need of backup singers for a US Tour. Elisa won the audition! She then started touring the states, singing backup vocals with  Mary J. Blige. Eventually returning to Amsterdam, Elisa worked extensively with her own eight-piece R&B  pop electronic band and played dates in Amsterdam, Belgium, France, Spain, England, Greece, Germany and Italy.and all over Asia,and the united states, Playing clubs such as the Bulldog, the Ritz, and the Hard Rock Cafe. The group performed in halls, pubs clubs, and restaurants. They performed anywhere good music was appreciated. Elisa was recently performing in St. Tropez and recording her latest single  in Miami. She will be releasing her EP early next year, stay tuned. While returning back to Amsterdam,Elisa started working on her album and wrote a hit song that was being picked up by radio 538 and it became a big electro pop dance hit all over Europe and Asia, Elisa just got back from a big tour performing in Asia, and Dubai. with live band dj act and dancers,She looks forward to releasing more records! After 2 years of touring in Asia,Elisa came to NYC, and started working on her acting and modeling skills,and at NYC art schools  broadway dance center ballet arts and alvin ailey,for dance theater,PMT house of dance and stella Adler. and vocal lessons,she now does catwalk fashion shows,music video’s ,print commercial modeling,and acting for tv and film. elisa now resides in los angeles california,she is working on he EP,she has a new single and music video release ,while modelling on the side,for major campaigns like american express and hydroxycut!coming up soon!
