Sean Davis

Sean is a dynamic young, cool, hip, fresh and tremendously gifted brother, which brings to the music economy singing, song writing, and amazing artistry. Sean’s vision is all about connecting people soul to soul through music with emphasis on his words and lyrical style. Sean is tremendously skilled in his originality, disciplined and dedicated to using their giftedness to bring divinely inspired relevant messages to the world.
Sean’s unique style, lyrics and sound channels deep into the soul bringing harmonious melodies uniting the emotional and spiritual. He authors lyrics that are divinely inspired, profound, real, yet uplifting. Sean is committed to always acknowledging that although singing brings restoration and healing it is only GOD who is the healer.
 Sean started singing at the tender age of 4 respectively with his sister, which is no surprise as they are offspring of a musical family. Their mother Pauline Davis was a member of a quartet group famously known as the Harmony Singers. Everywhere this group went, Sean would be there and his mother utilized the opportunity to provide him a forum to sing. Before long it was evident that these siblings were exceptionally gifted and became center stage, always stealing the show gaining rapid recognition and attention from the music world. Sean grew up hearing the sweet sounds of quartet harmony and hymns as they went on tours with the harmony singers and soon became professionals at harmonizing. Mom, in her wisdom had her children professionally trained with an emphasis on the spiritual sound.
As Sean and his sister continued to sing like a child prodigies, not only did people comment that they were adorable, but reacted with surprise and awe that such little kids could harmonize perfectly with such a big sound, but most importantly how they could reach and connect to people souls with the songs they sang. Fans would approach mom and would make inquiries for CDs or strongly urge that they should make an album. They were progressively encouraged to produce music and many producers and promoters tried to acquire them but mom in her diligence wanted to wait for the right time as they were just so young.
At age 12, Sean started writing songs and being the artist that he is, expanded his scope by recording and singing his songs wherever he could or would find an audience. He used all forums to spread the message of God’s love; always doing so with their own musical style and exclusive sound. In 2003, he joined several choirs and groups which further trained and perfected his vocal abilities, harmony and range. The Cathedral of Praise church  (formally known as Turner’s Faith Temple) was quite instrumental in providing him a platform. In fact, James "J.J." Hairston, now a renowned gospel artist was the choir director then and Sean was an active member of the choir called Chosen Generation. While being in that choir, he was given solos which he would sing the people under the "ANOINTING".

Various audiences were blown away by this talent and there was an immediate buzz which led to that choir being invited to sing at the Apollo Theater. From that instant the momentum changed for Sean and has since spiraled into unprecedented. The requests came in grooves to have them perform at various events i.e. churches, concerts, civic events and many weddings as he was quickly becoming known for the NY and CT area.

Then in 2004 Sean was introduced to Broadway and came across Sabrina Post who worked with him to further perfect and refine the smooth sound of his voice. Consequently, his rich talent was discovered and he landed a part in the Broadway play Aida for the role Mereb, which was a great success. Being a true artist he then took on acting and continued to play parts for small Broadway productions and various acting gigs.

Ultimately he came across a producer for the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, CT and auditioned for a part. Sean took the people by notes and landed the role right on the spot as Jimmy Early for hit Broadway play Dream Girls. This was a smash with raving reviews in the paper. Faith and God are the foundation on which they stand and they acknowledge that their gift of singing comes only from God. Therefore, in harmony with this God given talent, Sean’s objective is to through music speak to the hearts and minds of humanity via various genres of music. This is so as God cannot be contained in anything with a lid. Therefore, his style is highly versatile but the inspiration is always from God. This young hip brother has overcome adversity, challenges and struggles and has incorporated those messages into his style. This makes his songs an expression of experience, which is the path to connecting and to being significant.
Since then he has been interviewed on several radio stations i.e. WEBE 101.8 FM and Linkage Radio 104.5 FM and their music has received air play with raving reviews.
