Radio Moon is the music and DJ project of Michael McClean. From a small town in Iowa
by way of Chicago, McClean was inspired by the electronic dance music landscape of the early 2010’s and quickly began producing dance and bass music of his own. Radio Moon’s tracks are an arrangement of visceral melodies, energizing synths and seductive vocal chops all pulled down by distorted textures and densely driving percussion that are both unique and oddly familiar. When performing live, Radio Moon sets are known for being a boundaryless blend of eclectic musical styles all centered around evocative rhythm and enlivening dance. With a consistent effort to explore and mix in new and emerging palettes of dance music from across the world, there is always the provided framework of the more familiar past making the experience both exciting and universal. Now, recently relocating to Los Angeles, Radio Moon plans to integrate and redefine contemporary dance music culture by being a vehicle for continued experimentation.
