Biography
DUB EQUIS is a stage name and collaborative music project created by Derek Moorhead, an Austin-based producer and musician. Core members include Moorhead (Production/Composition, Beats, Bass Guitar, Synths), Corinne Zappler (Viola), Tina Bartolucci (Sax, Vocals), Tim Ochsenreither (Drums) and BlackLight (Hip-Hop Vocals). DUB EQUIS spans multiple genres (Drum & Bass, Dub, Hip-Hop, EDM, Downtempo), combining electronic beats and synths with acoustic drums, viola, saxophone, guitar, piano and heavy dub effects.
