Biography

Quality:

As an audio engineer with high level equipment, I am able to deliver studio like quality in a live atmosphere. By implementing wireless audio control, I can hear exactly what I will sound like as I walk the venue proving I am the only solo acoustic act in the area that brings a professional sound engineer.

Quantity:

As a top level entertainer, I do my absolute best to follow the golden rule, "No dead air". There is nothing worse than an act that pauses for 30 seconds after every song to take a drink or fumble through lyrics to get to the next song. That is why I play my sets like a DJ. I improvise song transitions on the fly to ensure that my sets are 45-50 minutes of straight music. This continuous style can add up and result in an extra 10-15 songs per show as compared to other acts.

Song Catalog:

Withover 200 songs in my catalog, I can accommodate any crowd. Whether there are some audience members over 70 or under 10, I have a song for everyone. I do not choose a set list ahead of time and show up to play only those songs. I break my catalog into large chunks and pick my set list live at the venue based on the demographic I am playing for. By gauging the crowd's reaction, I can see which styles, genres, or decades to choose songs from which results in a much more pleasant experience for the audience.

Solo Artist with Band Capabilities:

The main advantage of a band is that there other members there to sing backup vocals, play an iconic bass line, rip a trumpet solo, shred the drums, or provide a guitar solo. With the use of my loop pedal, I am able to do all of that as a solo artist in a much more impressive fashion. My live experience is a hybrid of acoustic and full band sounds. During certain parts of a song, I will build up a loop that consists of drums, bass, guitar, backing vocals, and trumpet. This creates a full band sound without cost and loud volume of a full band.

Personality, Appearance, and Professionalism:

I never perform under the influence of anything. This is my job and I treat it as such. I am young, presentable and passionate about my work. I take pride in putting on a good show, pleasing the audience, and making personal connections.
