He began his musical studies through the piano at the age of 8, discovering the guitar 9 years later. He obtained a degree in classical guitar in 2010 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias. He has released 4 albums under his name, “MEI” (2007), “PUERTO DEL MAR” (2014) where Jorge Pardo and Kike Perdomo participate, among others… “DIÁLOGO CON UN DUENDE”, 2016 together with the French pianist Baptiste Bailly .. and "SOUNDBATH" (2019), where he explores the world of sound therapy. He makes contact with the flamenco guitar in Granada, where he works assiduously as a soloist at the Parador de la Alhambra. Later he moved to Holland where he obtained a Master in jazz guitar and collaborated on flamenco projects with the guitarist Rezar Dominguez and Jeronimo Maya. In 2015, after winning a scholarship from the Cajacanarias Foundation, he went on to study his second Master's degree at the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Valencia, where he began to take part in various projects with professors Victor Mendoza, Perico Sambeat, Mariano Steimberg, Sergio Martinez. and Celia Mur, among others ... DM has performed on various stages in Europe, North Africa, Nicaragua, South Korea, participating in festivals and events such as: Jazz a Vienne (FR), Les Recontres Mediterraneennes de la guitare (Morocco), UNESCO, Paris (France), Jazz Maastricht (Holland), Maastricht University (Holland), La Bomboniere Theater, Zyryab Group and special guest Jeronimo Maya (Holland), Badcuyp Amsterdam (Holland), Aachen Theater (Germany), Muze Jazz club (Belgium), International Film Festival de Tenerife, FIMUCITE (Spain), I Mediterranean Festival of Valencia, IV Guitar Festival of Laguna Tenerife (Spain), Canarias Heineken Jazz & Más, etc .. He has shared the stage with musicians such as: Jorge Pardo, Perico Sambeat, Kike Perdomo, Polo Ortí, Torsten de Winkel, Rezar Dominguez, Pepe de Lucía, Antonio Sanchez, Sergio Martinez, Magos Herrera, Celia Mur, Martin Leiton, Antonio Lizana , Audun Waage, Luismo Valladares, Paul Stocker, etc ...
