A resident of Tampa Bay, Mwiza is a singer-songwriter with an Indie sound that encapsulates R&B, Folk, Rock, and Spanish tones for an alternative resonance all his own. Not only does he perform original music, his cover songs have garnered him a fan base due to his creative and unexpected approach. From a solo performer to a duo, trio or four- piece act, he's able to curate an experience. 

Mwiza actively performs at the following venues such as Grand Cathedral Cigars, New World Tampa, Hotel Haya, Rosen Center (Orlando), & Sparkman Wharf. Venues and organizations also book him directly such as the Universities of North and South Florida, Gasparilla Music Festival, GatorCases, National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Pier Dolphin Cruises, The Straz Center, Florida Penguin Productions (Corey Avenue Sunday Market on St. Pete Beach), The C House, The Battery Restaurant, Whistle Stop, Imagine Museum, Sun City Center, Seven C Music (Writers In The Round), Tori Bar Tampa, Bootleggers Brewing, Dracula's Legacy Wine Bar & Bistro Tampa, Grand Central Brewhouse and, The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art. He also performs at private events, a notable event being for Florida House of Representatives candidate, Janet Warwick and Localtopia, where he performed as a duo, Smoove Jamz, in front of the mayor of St. Petersburg, Ken Welch.
