Biography
At age 17 and still a senior in high school, Raylene Heater wasn't making plans to go to college with her friends. With just 3 years of drumming experience, she turned down a college scholarship and was preparing to introduce herself to Fremont Street in Las Vegas. With the help of her father/manager, they made the first drum kit made out of paint buckets.   Along with her engaging smile and massive crowd draw, Raylene quickly separated herself from any other drummer down on Fremont and established herself as a true rising star.    One year later, she attracted the attention of the president in charge of Fremont St. Experience, Patrick Hughes. In November 2018, Ray was featured in a national Nissan commercial starring Latin Grammy winner Karol G.   Most recently, she was interviewed on a live radio show, for over 20 minutes, with Scott Ferrall on CBS Sports radio. Scott stated, “You (Raylene) are the best act I’ve ever seen on Fremont Street”. He then went on to compare Ray to the great Neil Peart, a compliment she did not take lightly.
